Hydration IV · 1 litre · about 45 minutes

Hydration IV in Nashville, for the days water is not enough.

A litre of fluids and electrolytes placed by a registered nurse in a Green Hills lounge open from 7 am. $129. We say what it does: it puts fluid and salts into your blood faster than drinking. That is all it does.

  • Placed by Marcus Bell, RN, or another registered nurse, every time. Never a technician.
  • One litre of balanced fluids with electrolytes; add-ons listed with their price before you sit down.
  • About forty-five minutes in a recliner by the window, from 7 am.
  • $129. No membership, no package, no upsell in the chair.

Results vary from person to person. Nothing on this page is a promise of weight lost or kept off, and a program may be declined after the Starting Line if it is not right for you.

Why it works

What a hydration drip can do, and what it cannot.

A drip puts a litre of fluid and electrolytes into your bloodstream in under an hour, which is faster than drinking it and useful after a long run, a flight, a stomach bug or a night you regret. For most people most of the time, a glass of water does the same job more slowly and for free, and we will say so if you ask.

It does not treat any illness, undo a late night, or do anything to your immune system. If you are unwell rather than dry, the nurse will say so and may send you to urgent care instead of the chair.

Who this is for, and who it is not

For
  • Training weeks, long flights, a stomach bug on the mend, the morning after.
  • People who want a nurse, a price and a chair by the window.
  • Patients on a weight loss program here, where early-week nausea can leave you dry.
Not for, or not yet
  • Anyone with heart, kidney or liver conditions without a word from the nurse first; the intake asks.
  • Anyone who is actually ill: fever, chest pain, confusion. That is urgent care, and we will say so.
  • Anyone expecting it to fix something a drip cannot fix.

Who treats you

Illustrative stories. Wrenhaven is a fictional clinic; these are written examples, not patient reviews.

Flew in from Denver, drip at 7:15, meeting at 9. Marcus told me plainly that water would have worked too, which is why I trust the place.

Illustrative story, hydration

Week two nausea on the program had me dry; the nurse put me in the chair the same morning.

Questions

Questions people ask before they book

Still unsure? Call (615) 555-0164 and ask Jordan.

Does it hurt?

A small needle in the arm or hand, placed by a nurse who does it all day. A pinch, then nothing.

How long does it last?

The fluid is in your system within the hour and your body uses it over the day. It is not a reserve you can bank.

Can I add vitamins?

Yes, from the add-on list with its price, or choose the immune and energy drip instead. Nothing is added in the chair without being priced first.

Is it better than drinking water?

Faster, not better. If you can keep water down and are not dehydrated from exertion or illness, water will do.

Do you come to my house?

No. Every drip is placed in the lounge with a nurse and a physician in the building.
